SPACE Workshop in Paris
The SPACE Workshop, ‘Preventing and Controlling Infectious Diseases in the Built Environment of City Regions: France-Singapore Cross-Views,’ was conducted on 7-8 December 2023, at Université Paris 1-Panthéon Sorbonne. The workshop’s success is credited to its numerous esteemed presenters and guests, and our SPACE researchers.
It showcased preliminary findings from SPACE researchers and fostered dialogue with French researchers specializing in public health and infectious diseases. Topics included spatial mapping of disease habitats, pandemic communication strategies, urban planning, and waste management in the context of controlling diseases like dengue, COVID-19, and others.
