On 20 June, Prof Chueh Loo POH was invited as a guest speaker during the France – Singapore Circular Economy forum. This forum aims to foster discussions with key experts in integrating Eco Design and Circular Economy for Sustainable Growth.

During the 2nd panel discussion on consumer goods, Prof POH elaborated on the topic of Synthetic biology, and the need of “rethink how we produce things”. Engineering biology for a circular bioeconomy is at the heart of the research done within the CNRS@CREATE EcoCTs project. 

Circularity, 3-days to Rethink, Reuse and Recycle, is organised as part of the Joint Year Of Sustainability France-Singapore (JYOS), and in conjunction with the CleanEnviro Summit in Singapore from 19 to 21 June 2024.
