DesCartes program: Research Associate

CNRS@CREATE is seeking a motivated research associate for project DesCartes with the following roles and responsibilities:

• design and develop software for running research experiments
• translate research results into robust and usable software tools
• assist in preparing communication materials related to the projects (manuscripts, reports, posters, web pages, and presentations)
• assist and support the principal investigators in daily research activities

Applicants should have:

• a solid programming and software engineering skill, with experience designing and developing large-scale software;
• a strong background in machine learning or human-computer interaction, with candidates having background in both strongly preferred;
• a degree in computer science or related disciplines;
• a strong interpersonal communication skills;
• ability to read and understand methodologies in research papers;
